The programme is made for you if:
- You are an artist, deeply curious towards diverse dance practices and creative processes and you are interested in developing your own creative voice.
- You possess an interest in various artistic, material, digital, physical, methodological, intellectual, and organizational techniques that can help enrich, define, expand, or transform dance practices.
- You are open to collaborative work with various disciplines, such as visual arts, music, theatre, architecture, design, healthcare, human sciences or IT, to craft interdisciplinary projects that challenge norms and provoke thought.
- You are socially aware, value inclusivity, and hope to inspire audiences to engage in reflection and/or action. The final projects will reflect a wide range of artistic voices and ways of knowing, fostering dialogue within and between diverse communities.
- You support the values of the IMPACT programme: global outreach and education, social impact on surrounding ecologies, artistic dialogue across disciplines and cultures.
- With your innovative creation, you aim to leave a mark on the global dance landscape, pushing boundaries and inspiring the next generation of dancers, professionals, and audiences.
IMPACT welcomes applicants regardless of geographical location*, chosen form of dance, age, gender or ability.
* There is a restriction on the amount of grants that can be given to applicants from the partner countries.

Entry requirements
The IMPACT applicants must submit:
- Proof of a bachelor’s degree in dance or equivalent by experience**
- A Portfolio that consists of
- Videos of relevant examples of personal artistic work
- Written artistic statement addressing personal philosophy and work examples, description of past dance training or/and professional experience.
- Proof of a level in English B2 OR English B1+French B2
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae
- 2 Recommendation Letters
- Written Master Project statement
** Equivalency can be applied to professional experience or to studies not accredited by a Higher Education institution. See “Validation of professional and personal achievements for accessing the IMPACT entrance exam – VPPA”.
Requirements for the Master Project statement:
- Motivation letter in written or video format explaining student’s desire to apply to the IMPACT programme
- Description of the proposed Final Artistic Production
The CV, recommendation letters, Master Project statement, and written part of the portfolio must be written in English.
Selection Process
ROUND 1
1st phase – Eligibility review based on:
- Level of proficiency in English level (official proof or statement by student)
- CV
- Proof of bachelor’s degree or equivalency
- To determine equivalence, if necessary, a preliminary equivalence committee will review additional documents to the application.
This first phase consists of verifying that all the documents required for the application have been provided.
2nd phase – Pre-selection through:
- Portfolio
- IMPACT Master Project statement
- CV
- Recommendation letters
ROUND 2
Interview (in English) with the selected candidates:
- Presentation of the IMPACT Master Project statement by the candidate
- Discussion with the jury
